RE: Mass Effect 2
I expected something to happen when I did the second store sponsorship but then it just lets you keep doing it with no consequence. I really hope there's some not-too-serious outcome to it in Mass Effect 3 because most people wouldn't expect anything of it but BioWare can definitely have some fun with everyone that took advantage of every shop in Mass Effect 2.

RE: Mass Effect 2
I completed the Stolen Memory DLC which was also my first loyalty mission in the game. I expected a little bit more length as the DLC went by pretty quickly, but at $7, you can't really hope for too much. The gun you get in the mission is pretty neat and Kasumi has some cool rogue-like abilities, but the storyline is pretty forgettable.

"Seriously, Commander?" I got a kick out of that.

Right now I'm heading to Tuchanka (sp?) to finish up the loyalty missions. Does anyone have an opinion on which specialty power is the most useful? Right now I'm using Inferno Grenade which does comes in handy but I'm thinking about switching. I decided to stick it out with the Vanguard, if that makes any difference.

RE: Mass Effect 2
I think the best way to go about choosing your advanced power is how it complements the class you're playing. I'm playing as an Infiltrator and I chose Warp Ammo because I didn't have any abilities that were good against Barriers.

RE: Mass Effect 2
My party generally had a very good mix of abilities against shields, armor, and barriers so for me I went with the Barrier ability to keep myself alive. That saved my ass so much during the last half of the game since I was playing on Insanity. Pop that and it usually gave me enough time to get a Combat Drone up and get me hidden somewhere.

New DLC that expands the Shadow Broker storyline with Liara. Yess, I've always wanted to learn more about what happened. Hopefully, Liara won't be too miffed that I boffed Miranda and we can make up.

RE: Mass Effect 2
Bringing Liara in as playable is probably the most substantial DLC ever released for a ME game. But that really isn't saying much.

Her story was told in the 3-issue comic book mini series. It was actually not that bad a read. I look forward to seeing that expanded on tomorrow.
